I am a rather jovial and friendly person. I lived in the East and i have a rather happy family, my mum, my dad, my sister, my lovely miniature schnauzer( her size is rather larger than expected, and nonetheless me myself and I. I love to interact and make a lot of friends. However, something happened and i had changed drastically. My views changed, now people are much uglier when you become their friend or which they name you as their friends. Thank God, i still have a group of friends whom i sincerely reckoned them as my true buddies. Sylvester, Sophia, Mei Ling, Wei Sheng and Nicole.They are really the people who are with me through my toughest journey.

Despite of the reality in this world, there’s a dreamy girl who still dreams. My dream is to travel around the world with a camera in hand. I value the relationship between family and friends more than anything else in the world. If any of my friends needs a listening ear, I'll always be there for them. I tend to be sensitive to my surrounding especially the relationship among people; however I can be very ignorant regarding matters towards myself. Like any other girls, I like to chat on the phone, msn, surf net and shopping. I also like outdoor activities, reading, interaction with other people and travelling. Most of the time, I am unable to hide my feelings therefore, my friends always say that they are able to read me like a book. Well, I can be very stubborn and I hate to lose (to myself) on certain matter like studies because these are things that can be done if I strive for it. I am quite a soft hearted person therefore I hate people who cry because I tend to cry with them.

A cheerful and ambitious lady. Why have to call myself a lady? Coz I’m a mummy of a beautiful girl name Nicole.

Basically, I’m someone who cannot hide myself up, love to express what every I have. To me having secret is tiring therefore what I normally choose to do is forget whatever that is tiring to me. Due to this kind of attitude I can seen to be really forgetful at times. To me life is weak, we may be here now and gone the very next second therefore respect, love and be grateful of what one have is very important. But I maybe very straight towards feeling and can be bias at time.

Weakness: I cannot stand tears, tears win every war to me, I may look strong but I have soft heart. Therefore if one would like to win me will never go too hard on me, as what they get in return is a harder side of me.

ALB has a site size of 95 000sq/m and have inventory as much as 12 football field. The flow that they have gotten to suit into the system is through flow and having a 14 ½ years long of contract have let them put in full power in maintenance the resource and also having this contract instead of the previous 3 years contract have let the company to invent in funds to build this warehouse.

Having a different height limit for different parts of the warehouse let them have a various method of using the storage system from a storage system that is 10m up to 30m height.
Some of the functions are material management, receipt service, storage service, armament, distribution service and other distribution channels.To suit into their many different functions that they have they will need to have many different kinds of storage system to help them up. Some of the storage system that are used by them are automated storage & retrieval system (ASRS), powered mobile storage, high rack narrow aisle racking, carousel system, etc. Some of the MHEs that can be found in use at the inbound and outbound of ALB are forklift truck, side-loader.

Having inventory as much as 12 football field is not easy to handle therefore having good housekeeping is very important, some of the criteria for having good housekeeping are ensure warehouse premises look orderly and neat, tidiness and conducive environment, good lighting and ventilation.Personally I think they have done a very good job in keeping their place clean and near. The few hours that we are there we did not really see stock flying around the warehouse and the place has been kept really clean and near.

The basic steps that they will use in their goods issue process are:
They will all start from having STO/MO and every 2 hours they will have new order fulfilment and they will print out the sub issue vouchers. The sub issue vouchers will have all the picking detail that is needed for example the quantity and where is the item located at, so that it will help to reduce the time taken, as if the location is not being stated they maybe need more time to find out the location of the items. After picking up the item the delivery note will be issue before the delivery and the delivery can be all over Singapore. Over here at this stage milk run will be done. At the end of the day, they will need to update the receipt and status.
